Ivey is a self-taught visual artist, born and raised in the New Orleans  area.  Her medium of choice is acrylic on canvas.  Her style is  versatile, from abstract to impressionism to realism often mixing these  styles in her work.  She discovered her talent in elementary school.  She has been an artist for over 20 years.
