Computer Setup

This Includes the setup of the Mouse, Keyboard, Speakers, Internet, Webcam, Printers, Scanners, and any other device required to operate you PC.

PC Setup Breakdown

  1. Unboxing and Physical Setup:

    • Unbox Components: Carefully unbox the computer and peripherals (monitor, keyboard, mouse, etc.).

    • Assemble Hardware: Connect the monitor, keyboard, mouse, and other peripherals to the computer. Position everything ergonomically for comfort.

  2. Initial Power-Up:

    • Power On: Turn on the computer and ensure all connected peripherals are functioning correctly.

    • Check Connections: Verify that all cables are securely connected and that the monitor displays the boot screen.

  3. Operating System Installation:

  7. Network Configuration:

    • Set Up Network: Configure the network settings to connect the PC to the internet and any local network resources (e.g., printers, shared folders).

    • Secure Wi-Fi: Ensure the Wi-Fi connection is secure by using strong passwords and encryption.

  8. User Account Setup:

    • Create User Accounts: Set up user accounts with appropriate permissions. Configure the client's account with a strong password.

    • Personalization: Personalize the user account settings, such as desktop background, screen resolution, and power settings.

  9. Data Transfer and Backup:

    • Transfer Data: Transfer any necessary data from the client's old computer to the new one.

    • Backup Solution: Set up a backup solution to regularly back up important data (e.g., using an external hard drive or cloud storage).

  10. Security Configuration:

    • Install Security Software: Ensure antivirus and anti-malware software are installed and updated.
